They were introduced through mutual friends on campus when their eyes met for the first time in 2007. She thought he was a big rugby jock and he questioned how a pretty little lady can talk so much.

A friendship set on academic goals soon evolved into project deadlines & cross-referencing (the telephonic kind) and it wasn’t long before these study partners realised that they were head over heels in love with each other. It is a text book romance.

With her trademark glitter-sparkle-eyes she illuminates the room with her 100 watt-smile. “He planned the whole thing while I was at gym” she admits. LJ, who managed to get hold of her flat keys, set a romantic scene that any movie scene would be proud of.

“Once I had freshened up, he dimmed the lights and as I entered the room, he delivered his speech in joyful anticipation. I had to stop a second and catch my breath.”
