5 Amazing Honeymoon Travel Apps you should have.
Happy New Year!
It’s a brand new day, and a brand new year and before the guilt of that champagne and red bull force you to rehearse your health and fitness speech, let me stop you right there…I am in my PJ’s, on holiday, and totally planning on spending a few more days in vacation mode.
Even though I am not big on New Year’s resolutions, I have to admit, it’s one of my absolute favourite times of the year. Giving thanks for year that has gone and being able to dream for the one that’s ahead with a renewed sense of enthusiasm & zest is pretty awesome.
One of my guilty pleasures over the holidays is to schedule a few breaks throughout the year, to make sure Joe and I stay focused throughout the entire year, as well as take care of our marriage, health and general state of mind.
So if you’re travelling or planning that UH-MA-ZING honeymoon of yours, here are five must-download apps that will make your trip a breeze.
1. Creatrips – Travel Guide
Simply put, this is the best way to travel in a digital age.
Createtrips offer curated trips to any destination for either a solo travel or together with friends. While there are plenty of fee guides, you can also purchase premium guides from world class bloggers, informed locals and adventure savvy travellers. Best of all is once you’ve downloaded your guide from the app, you can refer to your guide offline. Be lost now more, unless that’s the plan. Oh, and it’s FREE!
2. Tripit – Travel Organizer
The Tripit app syncs with your email and automatically creates a comprehensive master itinerary of every trip. Now you can keep all your important bookings, dates & contacts in one spot. With the click of a button you can selectively share part or all of your travel plans via text or email, keeping those who need to know, in the loop. Brilliant and also free!
3. Wikitude – Travel Guide
Point your camera at an icon and this clever little app will use using image recognition to tell you what you are looking at, how long it’s been there, who built it and why it’s significant. It also locates you position and informs you nearby Hotels, Restaurant, Landmarks and areas of interest. Fantastic if you want your own personal tour guide in your pocket.
4. Global Subway Maps – Travel Maps
Covering more than 130 subway maps of the world’s most visited cities, Global Subway Map is a must have for multi destination voyages. Price tag a mere $0.99
5. The Converted By Ideon – Ultimate Converter
The ultimate travel converter that helps you out with currency exchange rate, metrics and the odd clothing size. This will set you back $5,99
Thank you so much for reading and have an awesome day.
